Indonesian Culinary comes to Seychelles

Special Envoy of Seychelles for ASEAN, Mr.Nico Barito recently met Minister of Cooperative and SME of Indonesia Mr. Anak Agung Ngurah Puspayoga at Ministry of Cooperative and SME of Indonesia and discussed on introducing Indonesian culinary in Seychelles.
Both Minister Puspayoga and Mr. Barito believed that the presence of Indonesia Culinary in Seychelles will add the flavor of cuisine to carter to upper end tourist and socialite whom visited Seychelles. Further to enhance a combination of the Indonesian cuisine with Seychelles authentic creole food to accelerate the culinary SME from both countries to go international and develop franchise of food, snack, delicacies including traditional herbal and healthy drink.
During the meeting which was attended by respective deputy minister, director and expert staff from the ministry, Mr. Barito informed the series of activities undertaken between Seychelles and Indonesian SME over the years and highlighted the founding of FORSEAA ‘Forum of Small Medium Enterprise AFRICA ASEAN’ in 2014 by Seychelles and Indonesia together with other founder members from Brunei, Cambodia, Kenya, Laos, Myanmar, Nigeria, Sudan, South Africa, Somalia and Zimbabwe, whereas The Minister of Cooperative and SME of Indonesia is one of the honorary patron founder member.
The implementation of launching Indonesian Culinary in Seychelles is effectively underway.
