Seychelles Joint Hands with Indonesia To Combat Narcotic and Drugs

Special Envoy of Seychelles for ASEAN presents the highest consideration to BNN (Badan Narkotika Nasional), Indonesian National Narcotic Agency upon the completion of a full month training program for the Seychelles Young Leadership Program (SYLP) participants at BNN Indonesia.
Seychelles despite its small population implies a strict control and monitoring on the illegal trafficking of narcotics and drugs. We want Seychellois to be absolutely free from drug and leaving in harmony in one of the world top end paradise, said Mr. Barito.
Mr. Barito is welcome at the BNN head quarter by BNN Chairman Commissioner General Budi Waseso accompanied by BNN Deputy Inspector General Arman Depari and Director for International Cooperation Police Brigette Ali Johardi.
Special Envoy of Seychelles for ASEAN and the Chairman of BNN both are looking forward to embark on a further collaboration to set up a centre of excellence for narcotic and drug and a niche rehabilitation centre in Seychelles. This initiative is in line with spirit of the cooperation between Indonesia and Africa.
The SYLP participants that took part in the BNN internship from 07 to 29 March 2016 are from the government officials and police officers of Seychelles. Senior BNN officials Rtd. Commissioner General & Ambassador Ahwil Lutan, Police Brigitte Victor Pujiadi, Dr. Kusman Suriakusumah and Director of Intelligence of BNN Mr. Made Astawa have taken lead and mentored the successful achievement of the program along with respective officials of BNN for training, community outreach and the Lido rehabilitation centre.
SYLP is a program dedicated by President of Seychelles to create young leadership and youth entrepreneurship for Seychelles.
